Advanced Lesson: Bouncy Hands (On1)

Note: This is a sample lesson to give you a taste of Patrick and Scarlet’s teaching methodology. You can sign-up for the full salsa program here.

Bouncy Hands is by far our most popular advanced combo. And although it looks complex, it’s actually the easiest.

At it’s core, it’s made up of Inside Turns and a Right Turn, but it’s masked in a masterpiece of complex arm work. It’s a perfect example of how everything is built on basics. And that’s exactly what Patrick and Scarlet give you – the fundamentals to lead or follow any move in salsa.

Pro tip: the trick to fast clean arm movements is to keep your elbows down and relaxed. And that goes for both of you – breathe, don’t tense up!
